I wonder too. I'm not sure it it registered me or not. I'm gonna guess the 's' variant is a BRZ with the STI parts.

Nice announcement, now they just need to confirm pricing. If you already have a WRB BRZ ordered, would just be a visit to the parts catalogue to get the same gear on the car - albeit in a more expensive form. It would be surprising if Subaru sold it for a massive premium over the standard model given it's already well above the $29,990(ish) for the Toyota GT.

I hope you're right. Mind you if the starting price is just over 40K with all those accessories (even new coilover), I'll be a little frustrated because my order only recently changed to "ordered". Hmmm.

In any case, the show is this thursday. If they allow it, I'll take a few photos and possibly a quick video for you all to get a better look.

No need to wait for the S variant. I already have one with a full sti kit + work 11r rims on tein street flex coilovers in my driveway. I'm gonna rock up on the Sydney Subaru performance show and see if I can get more looks than their one they are showing us lol!

    My build thread:
Jack's BRZ now with STI bits
Nav2k, shon and Yin like this.

I'm looking really hard at the STI 18"ers to be had from Japan. Much nicer looking than the 17s that Subaru is intent on bringing. Not sure if the numbers add up tho to buy the whole STI work-up kit.
