    Dealers Cashing In!

Just popped in to Jarvis Subaru in Adelaide to have a look at the BRZ. They have a Demo WRC Blue Manual BRZ (Build #99) with the heated leather seats AND custom plates (BRZ 099)that has 749km on the odometer.
I was told that this vehicle is available now for purchase, and that that would even throw in the Navigation unit for free!
Wow, I thought..... That sounds really great, given the wait on a new one.

Then he told me the price.

    $64,990 Drive-Away!

    WTF?

I'm sorry mr Jarvis, but that's borderline criminal.

Won't be getting my order, that's for sure.

Trying to pull a fast one. Only worth what someone will pay but should still be reported to Subaru head office as dealers are not allowed to do this. Tell him you will pay MSRP + dealer delivery and not a cent more and he should be happy that he is moving a demo model for the price of a new model

I believe that if they advertise the car as "used" then they can name their price. In any case they are Sons of Bitches !!

Unfortunately my friend, they are technically allowed to do this as the car will be sold as "used" or Second Hand.

MSRP only applies to new cars. If it is demo or used they can put whatever price they want

    Dealers Cashing In!

Another example is Northpoint Toyota selling their Red GTS Auto as Used for $45,000 D/A.
