Toms (Japan) Tunes Toyota GT 86

The Japanese tuner has recently presented its latest creation, an aerodynamic for the , but a series of technical modifications are also under development. After the model has been launched in several markets, together with its and Scrion brothers, the has not attracted the attention of tuners, and one of the first modified models has already hit the market. According to the Japanese tuner TOMS, the has been fitted with an aerodynamic body kit, which is coming with new bumpers, a redesigned front fascia, and a fresh set of eight-spoke lightweight alloy wheels, to improve the vehicle’s dynamic image. TOMS is also promising some technical modifications, like a new and upgraded set of brakes and a custom exhaust system, but there’s no word yet on the engine.

As a reminder, the Toyota GT-86 is 4.240 mm long, 1.285 mm tall and 2.570 mm wide, being the most compact four-seat sports car on the market. The weight distribution is 53:47 (front to rear). The model is powered by the Subaru borrowed 2.0 liter four-cylinder with the company’s D-4S direct injection technology, which is sending the 197 HP at 7.000 rpm and 205 Nm of torque (151 lb-ft) at 6.600 rpm to the rear wheels.
